Skype – WIFI Phone
Netgear (via eHomeUpgrade) have today announced pre-order availability of a WIFI mobile. Retailing at $250 in the US and offering free mobile connectivity to the skype community when in WIFI range.
Once WIMAX takes off we can expect similar devices to encompass this emerging technology (and as we know the devices will only get cheaper). Is it any wonder the mobile incumbents are scrambling to get into the broadband space.

Tablegen – Generate clean HTML for tables
Check out this HTML table generator from Blended Technologies. I’ve struggled with the problem of inserting tables into WordPress recently and these seems to solve the problem perfectly. It’s a webpage where you populate a table of data and then click a button to generate super clean HTML that can be pasted into your wordpress editor window.
Excellent Interview with Tim Berners Lee
Via slashdot, you shuld read this excellent interview with Tim Berners Lee. One quote struck a chord with me from my time working at Oracle,
At the moment a lot of company knowledge is held on spreadsheets and
Powerpoint slides, because companies need to see summaries. But the
data has lost its semantics, so it’s not usable.
